Join us for a contemplative experience in nature on Thursday, July 30 at 6pm at the MN Landscape Arboretum. We'll meet onsite at 6pm for a blessing and receive instructions for our self-guided contemplative activity throughout the arboretum. The Ducklow family is hosting a Sunday Supper on July 26 at 5pm at their home in Maple Grove. They will provide the main dish and some beverages. Bring a side dish to share and a lawn chair if you're able. They will even have a bouncy house! It'll be a lovely evening of conversation, food and general merriment! All ages are welcome. Kids of any age are invited to our Water and Watermelon Party on Saturday, July 25th from 1-3PM at church! Wear a swimsuit or something you don’t mind getting wet and bring any water toys (buckets, water squirters, reusable water balloons) you'd want and any friends who’d like to tag along! Join us for the Genesis float at the Whiz Bang Days Parade in Robbinsdale on Sunday, July 12. We could use folks to walk/ scoot/rollerblade/bike in the parade, hand out candy, use a bubble maker or carry a sign. We also need candy donations (no chocolate!) - which you can bring to church anytime between now and July 12 and leave in the church office. Rebecca is hosting the next "Sunday Supper" on Saturday, June 20th but let's make it a women's brunch on her deck in St Louis Park at 10am! She'll provide plenty of coffee and some savory items, please bring a brunch side to share like fruit, pastries, yogurts or juice. Don't feel like bringing food? June is PRIDE month! Join us on Sunday, June 14th for our 10:45am worship to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ siblings in our church, in our communities, and in our world. As a fully inclusive and affirming congregation, we are intentional about our welcome each and every week, though on this particular Sunday we'll celebrate Queerness in all its beauty with additional fanfare + general awesomeness (rainbow treats; resources; new stickers + flags to take home)! Does your Queer Christian friend, family member, or co–worker need a safe place to celebrate their belovedness during this month? An invitation to this gathering is a great opportunity to extend the table of God’s expansive love and say “Pull up a chair, dear one. You will always belong.”

The VerHage family is hosting a May Sunday Supper on May 31 at 5pm in their backyard in SE Mpls. They're planning a taco bar and make pitchers of sangria and lemonade. On 5th Sundays, as a congregation we explore either Sabbath or Service instead of gathering for a typical worship service. Our next 5th Sunday is May 31 and we are inviting the congregation to practice acts of service in your own home or wider community. Folks interested in cleaning up around Crystal Lake are invited to join us across from Sanborn Park at 10am (note time!). Or if you'd like to do something on your own, consider picking up trash in your neighborhood or community park, send letters to legislators, help a neighbor with yard work, donate food to your local foodshelf, write positive chalk messages on your sidewalk, plant and take care of something in nature, etc.
